Weightlifting: Christian Amoah picks 2 more medals for Team Ghana in Cairo

Ghanaian weightlifter Christian Amoah pocketed two awards at the ongoing African weightlifting champion in Cairo.
The energetic athlete increased Ghana's medal tally to three with two bronze in his weight category.
Impressive lifts at the continental showpiece saw Amoah shaking off threats from his rivals to finish in the podium in the 89 kg category.
Perfect lifts in the 89 kg category saw the organizers awarding Amoah bronze in the snatch category and the total lifts.
Amoah managed 148kg for Snatch, 172 kg for clean and jerk and 320kg in his total category.
The medal table is expected to rise when Forrester Osei takes joins the championship later in the program.
