Denmark goes gay as ghana triumth angola

Ghanain community in Denmark, on Sunday evening. took to the streets of the Danish capital, Copenhagen, amid singing and dancing after the senior national team fought hard to beat the host nation Angola to advance to the semifinal stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nation, courtesy Asamoah Gyan classic goal.

The Ghanaian fans clad in their normal red, gold and green flags, defied the cold weather and went ahead to shower praises for the entire team.

According to them even though Ghana went to the tournament without the full compliment of the team,with most of their top class players on the injury list and suspension based on indesciplane,the young enterprising lads have proved the pundits of the game wrong.

In an exclusive interview with the leader of the jubilant, Mr. Dick Osei, he pointed out that even though the peformance of the team throughout the tournament is below average ,what mattered most in association football is the maximum three points.

Ghana has been one of the underdogs in the tournament because of the number of injuries in their camp, from the look of things can spring suprise by reaching the finals and go ahead to clinch the ultimate,he noted.

He disclosed that despite the fact that the team has been able to find a bit of it rhythm, the technical team should work very hard to find a lasting solution to the porus midfield.

He opined that one thing he like about the team is their dedication, determination, hardwork and team spirit that the entire team has exhibited throughout the competition.

He stressed that the way the team has peformed proved to the fact that if we are able to get the full compliment of the squad before the commencement of the world cup ,Ghana will make a name in the mundial.

Touching on the peformance of the Algerian referee who handle the said match, he lamented that his action and inaction on the field of play showed to the whole world that he was having a sinister mind against the black stars but thank God that all he did could not ulter the score line.

He tasked Ghanaians all over the world to pray for the entire team so that we will be able to reach the finals and go ahead to win the cup which has eluded us for the past 28 years.
