NDC Atlanta Congratulates President-Elect

, H.E JOHN MAHAMA AND MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS

It is with much great delight and joy that the Atlanta Chapter of the National Democratic Congress congratulates H.E. John Mahama and the entire membership of the NDC family for chalking another resounding victory in this year’s elections. It has been a very tiresome and challenging journey that the party embarked upon in the last couple of years, and therefore we have the course to celebrate. But we need to give Glory to the Almighty God for bringing us this far because he is the one who makes kings and leaders and he is the one who has chosen John Dramani Mahama to steers the affairs of Mother Ghana for the next four years. We also must continue to remember Prof. Mills in our prayers, that his soul and spirit should continue to rest in perfect peace for paying the ultimate price to bring NDC this far. Prof. Mills laid the solid foundation for the NDC to be where it is now. Even as we celebrate H.E. John Mahama, let’s all continue to pray for him, so that the hands of the Almighty God would be great upon him, to grant him the wisdom that he needs to unite and develop our beautiful Mother Ghana.

With the elections behind us, we urge all Akatamansonians to put aside all past bickering and animosities and embrace each other so together we will build Mother Ghana to the admiration of the people who entrusted their lives and the duties of the country into our hands. NDC is the party that can move Ghana forward and we need to continue to demonstrate this to Ghanaians. We thank Ghanaians for the trust reposed in NDC .
