Taste of Art Fundraiser in New York

On behalf of The Gold Coast Medical Foundation, I'm writing to request
your participation in our Taste For Art Fundraiser Event. On Sunday, March
2nd 2014, we are hosting an amazing culinary and art experience, open to
the public. This event will take place at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, from
7pm- 10pm.

The Gold Coast Medical Foundation is a non-profit organization, started by
two brothers from Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Kwaku Boakye and Dr. Kwabena
Boakye while in medical school, started this organization as a way to reach
out to the world about medical poverty in Ghana and other third world
countries. We have 8 board members, 3 being medical doctors. We've
missioned out to countries, providing temporary clinics, medical supplies
for hospitals (donated to us by well known hospitals) and health education
for rural villages. Our doctors have traveled on disaster relief mission
trips to countries such as Haiti, Malawi, Indonesia and the Dominican
Republic. We've also adopted the Westphalian Children's Home in Ghana,
donating to them clothing, school supplies, food and also financial
assistance. Sticking to our world wide health awareness goal, we've
provided health education and fitness classes for several churches and
organizations in the Bronx and Harlem; with the support of the NYC
Department of Health, and Bronx Health Reach.

For The Taste For Art Fundraiser event , we're partnering with the Rakiem
Walker Project, the house band for Red Rooster Harlem, collaborating food
and art. We're bringing together amazing chefs presenting artistic edibles,
and artist showcasing music, eye-catching pieces, and the work of
photography. With this event, we're hoping to raise funds towards our up
coming mission trip and projects. Our goal is to offer silent auction lots
and raffles with items such as rare wines, designer handbags, hard-to-get
dinner reservations, jewelry, golf outings, signed sports memorabilia and
premium seating to sports events. All donations are tax deductible to the
extent allowed by law and will be acknowledged on auction materials,
organization website and in the annual report.

Most importantly, we're hoping to reach out to our guest about medical
poverty in third word countries and how to help. While guest are enjoying
amazing food and wonderful art, as we want to reach people while in great
spirits; we will be showcasing information about the organization, its
mission work, our clinic project in Kwabuanta/ Ashanti Region, Ghana and
more.

We sincerely apologize for such short notice and hope you will give serious
thought and consideration to this request.
Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Maame Boakye
