MP receives thumps up for keeping election promise

Tepa, (Ash), Sept. 23, GNA - The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo-Ano North, has been given thumps up by his constituents for keeping an election promise he made to them.

Mr Richard Akuoko Adiyiah pledged to ensure the tarring of Tepa Lorry Terminal if voted by the people to represent them and has done just that.

This has brought a big relief to drivers and passengers, who in the past were compelled to wade through puddle anytime it rained. Mr Adiyiah used part of his share of the MP's Common Fund to undertake the job.

The Chairman of the Tep a branch of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union Mr Michael Owusu-Asante, said the MP deserved commendation. The facelift of the terminal, he said, was a demonstration that Mr Adiyiah could be trusted.

He appealed to the MP to do all he could to help improve on the lighting system to enable the drivers to operate for 24 hours. 24 Sept. 09
