3G Awards 2019 - Mizter Okyere to be honoured in New York

Okyere Donkor is a Ghanaian saxophonist who is widely known by his stage name 'Mizter Okyere' (The Soul Healer).

The Board and entire 3G Awards Team has officially accepted his nomination to be honoured.

The 3G Awards 2019 will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 starting at 9 pm @ Berean Hall, 1661 Boon Avenue, Bronx NY 10460 (Entrance on E 173 ST), 9pm-3am.

The event dubbed "A Night of Heroes" recognizes the sacrifice and dedication of the leading trailblazers of the greater Ghanaian and Global communities.

MIzter Okyere started his music career from Church as an instrumentalist (play all instruments) and through that decided to establish his own recording studio (MIZTER OKYERE MUSIC STUDIO).

He produced KOFI Kinaata Birthday ‘Freestyle; Akoo Nana ‘Pay Day; Shattered Lives featuring Shatta Wale, Bisa K Dei and himself, Nero X ft Kk FOSU ‘road accident; Flowking Stone ‘Hustlers prayer’ Ebony’s tribute song featuring Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), Atumpan, Nana Nketia Ephraim and himself.

He recently released 1 single track from his upcoming SOUL HEALING album titled “Gospel Praise Sax Medley”. Mizter Okyere inherently understands the power of music as a spiritual offering, and his ministry focuses on healing souls with good music.

He has had the opportunity to perform for the former President of Ghana, His Excellency John Agyekum Kuffour and the current president of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, the First lady Her Excellency Mrs. Rebecca Akuffo Addo and the wife of the Vice President of Ghana Her Excellency Mrs. Samira Bawumia on different occasion.

It is his strong desire to bring something different into the Ghanaian
music industry and to reach the ends of the globe with the sound of
his saxophone.
