Without equivocation, Stonebwoy shared a video illustrating his acts of benevolence, in response to a tweep's claim labelling the musician as miserly and urging the 'Into the Future' singer to exhibit kindness by offering financial assistance to others.

This reaction stemmed from a prior post by Stonebwoy, expressing frustration with the prevalence of bitterness and negativity on the X platform, and advocating for a change in the prevailing discourse.

"The amount of unprovoked expression of bitterness, hate, and delusional mentality on this app is heavy… TF why? Repent o," read Stonebwoy’s tweet on May 14, 2024.

While the exact trigger for Stonebwoy's initial post remains unclear, a subsequent response from a tweep prompted a rebuttal from the popular musician.

The tweep remarked, "Big bro, they say your hands are tight. Start sharing money and doing giveaways so we won’t drag you again, please. Wo tri mu ye den dodo, Efo," asserting that Stonebwoy is tightfisted and admonishing him to change his behaviour to avoid criticism.

In response, Stonebwoy shared a five-minute video showcasing his involvement in corporate social responsibility initiatives, retorting, "Drag who? Watch this and show it to the rest. Be wise."

Last year stonebwoy put up a number of boreholes across the communities along the ankobrah river to the tune of 2 million dollars. And that was due to the the pollution of the river which was the primary source of water for those communities
