Ghanaian media personality and radio show host, Blakk Rasta, has confessed he does not like Shatta Wale as a musician.

According to him, Shatta Wale’s songs don’t touch him and it is one of the reasons he does not play his songs on his show.

He was quick to add, however, that Shatta Wale is a great artiste with a massive fan base.

“I don’t like Shatta Wale. He is a great artiste, no two ways about that. But his songs don’t touch me. He knows this himself,” Blakk Rasta said.

He was speaking in an interview as seen by YEN.com.gh on Metro TV in a video circulating on social media.

Mentioning the kind of musicians he likes, Blakk Rasta said he has a thing for Amandzeba, Paapa Yankson, Rex Omar, and others. He explained that those musicians have good lyrical content which attracts them to him.

Blakk Rasta also revealed that Stonebwoy is very much aware that he is not impressed with the kind of music he does.

“You know, Stonebwoy once met me and said ‘Oh king, I know you don’t like this kind of music I do but because of their fan base. You know…” Black Rasta said.

He added that no one can give him pressure to like any musician by force because he is inspired by God about his choices.

The Zylofon Media worker stressed, however, that: “The fact that I don’t like your music does not mean I don’t like you. And it also does not mean I won’t like your music in the near future.”
