Chalewote ‘celibrity’ hailed for her ‘bathroom slipper’ skills

Karen, University of Ghana’s ‘face of Chalewote’ has attained a ‘heroic’ feat in the eyes of some social media users contrary to the view of many others who believe her actions were unwarranted, disrespectful and abusive.

Karen captured on camera, physically assaulting a fellow student who was allegedly cheating on her friend.

According to reports, the lady at the centre of the saga was fighting for her friend who the guy, Greyy was allegedly cheating on.

She hit and slapped him with the chalewote, a locally made bathroom slippers repetitively as she questioned the young man’s actions.

Several versions of readings have emerged, with many suggesting it was an intellectual experiment, others who believe it was a real life event have hit hard at the girl and some others believe, for some weird reason, that the girl was a ‘defender of the defenseless’.
