I was frustrated; not angry – EL on Ghana meets Naija

Rapper, EL, says was not angry during his performance at the 2016 Tigo Ghana Meets Naija but was frustrated.

The artiste was compelled to halt his performance due to a technical hitch which took over twenty minutes to be resolved.

Speaking to Hitz FM, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year said he was frustrated because plans by his team for the event were not executed due to the challenge.

“I wasn’t angry, I was just frustrated. It’s a technical thing and you cannot predict the way machines will work. I heard the machine was heating up so someone had to pull some things out… You can’t blame anybody for that… There were so many things we planned to do but we couldn’t. I guess next time, we are going to have a real serious talk about this with anybody who will be involved so that we can avoid it” he stated.

The sixth edition of Ghana Meets Naija came off on Saturday, May 21, at the Accra International Conference Centre with performances from VVIP, Pappy Kojo, Shatta Wale, Olamide, Flavour N’abania, Harrysongs and many more.
