Carlos Queiroz has reportedly asked the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to make changes to the Black Stars’ backroom team before he puts pen to paper on his new contract.
The Portuguese coach has already returned to the helm of the Black Stars, with the GFA officially announcing on September 2, 2026, that it had reached an agreement with him for a new coaching mandate.
Queiroz has also begun preparations for Ghana’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign and has named a 24-man squad for the upcoming matches against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia, as well as the friendly against Morocco.
