Former WBO super-bantamweight world champion, Isaac Dogboe, has revealed that he felt the urge to leave the sport, which led to his decision to retire.
According to him, he had been pondering the decision for some time, questioning whether it was the right moment, but eventually chose to quit and focus on other aspects of his career.
Speaking in an interview with JoySports, Dogboe disclosed that he had received offers to fight but declined them, deciding instead to bow out of boxing despite his accomplishments.
