The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko, has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) can sell Ghana for political power.
He said the NDC’s politics of divisiveness has not changed since 1992, and is bent on inciting Ewes against the NPP.
According to him, some group of Ewes personally confronted him during a campaign tour in the constituency revealing the tactics of the NDC- with politics of division polluting the minds of Ewes not to vote for the New Patriotic Party, on basis that “if the NPP attains power, Ewes would be kicked out of the country.
Speaking on Atinka AM Drive Tuesday the MP said the NDC over the years, has based its politics on lies but Ghanaians are well informed on the current state of the country and that they will base their votes on truth and not lies come December 7.
Mr Agyarko mentioned that despite the loud noise being made about the NDC’s developmental projects, the country is in tatters.
“What you are selling is not what Ghanaians want to see. Ghanaians are languishing in poverty and you are talking of school buildings,” he said, adding that the current state of the Ghanaian economy is engulfed with hardship and needs a revamp.
Revisiting the power crises, the former Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) boss said currently, the Karpower barges imported to curb the energy crises are sitting ideal while the country is continuously being powered by the Ivoirians.
He was optimistic that Voltarians will vote for the NPP this time around .
