A retired deputy Commissioner of Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) and Board Member of Exxim Bank, Peter Kwame Abebrese, has scored Nana Addo DankwaAkufo-Addo 90% in his three years of managing the country as President.

According to him, the President, in less than four years, has been able to reduce the inflation rate he inherited from his predecessor, John DramaniMahama, in 2017, 17.5%, to 7.7% in October 2019.

Mr Abebrese said all indications were that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government wanted to leave a good legacy of making Ghana an industrial hub for which the Nana Akufo-Addo government introduced the ‘Planting for Food and Jobs’programme aimed at making sure that every region could produce and feed themselves.

He said the introduction of the free senior school programme was another way of ensuring that in the next 10 years, every young Ghanaian could express himself or herself well, better the fortunes of Ghana and raise the bar high between the educated and the uneducated.

“When it happens like that, many of the youth will get employment in various companies because they can freely express themselves and again it means that anybody you meet on the street in the country can at least communicate in the English language fluently,” he stated.

Mr Abebrese said the government’s ‘1District 1Factory’ will bring jobs for the youth in the various districts, adding that the Nation Builders Corps had already provided some jobs for the people, and the government was also working hard to widen the reach of vocational and technical education and that if the ‘1 Village 1 Dam’ was fully implemented, it would also widen the unemployment net.

“If you view all the policies put in place by this government, nobody should tell you that Nana Akufo-Addo government is geared towards building an industrialised Ghana,” MrAbebrese stated.

He, therefore, called on Ghanaians to rally behind the NPP government to ensure that all the good policies this government was initiating would come to fruition.
