Former Energy Minister and stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Boakye Agyarko, has issued a strong message to the party's opponents, affirming the NPP's resilience and determination to overcome its current challenges.
In a social media post, Agyarko confidently declared, "They will try hard, but they will fail," emphasising the party’s enduring strength and commitment to its core principles as the foundation for its resurgence.
He warned adversaries against attempting to exploit the NPP's difficulties, asserting such efforts would be futile. However, his message also addressed members of the party, urging introspection and responsibility in navigating this critical period.
“We bear a serious and grave burden of duty to rebuild and save our party for the service of Ghana and posterity,” he stated, framing the task as a collective obligation rather than an individual effort.
Agyarko acknowledged the challenges confronting the party but conveyed optimism by underscoring unity, perseverance, and decisive action as essential pillars for recovery.
He emphasised the importance of members setting aside personal differences and rallying around a shared vision.
“To achieve this, every member, regardless of their role, has a contribution to make,” he concluded.
