The Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has urged the Ghanaian electorate to prepare themselves for a long day at the polling station on election day, December 7, 2024.

He urged voters not to leave the polling station after voting, adding that they should stay at the premises to protect their ballot.

Speaking on Ghana Kasa on Kasapa FM, monitored by GhanaWeb, the controversial man of God urged voters to come to the polling station wearing diaper, saying the need for one to urinate should not take the person away from the polling station.

"I will be the first person to vote at my polling station, and I will be the last to leave my polling station. Because after I have voted, I will make sure that I protect my vote. If you want to urinate, don't leave the polling station; do so in your diaper because we are dealing with...

"Like I was saying, anyone who loves Ghana like some of us, anybody who has investments in Ghana, should not allow Dr. Bawumia and this current NPP to be closer to the presidency. After the dollar exchanging at 17.2, after all the bills that we pay," Prophet Gaisie stated.

Ghana goes to the polls on December 7, 2024, to elect a President and 275 Members of Parliament to govern the country for the next four years.

Political analysts say this general election, which promises to be keenly contested, is as usual a two-horse race between the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
