Aide to former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has stated that the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) strategy for the 2024 elections is to amuse themselves and laugh.
She expressed this view in response to Joseph Osei Owusu's claim that available research suggests the NPP will emerge victorious in the 2024 elections.
Joyce Bawah Mogtari pointed out that only polls and research conducted by the NPP itself predict their success in the upcoming election.
She clarified that reputable polls and research all indicate a win for John Dramani Mahama and a significant majority in Parliament.
Sharing her stance on social media, Joyce Bawa Mogtari said, “Delusions of grandeur!
"The NPP’s strategy in this election seems to be “tickle yourself and laugh.” If not, why would their party’s leading figures be on a deliberate self-serving run across the country, spreading inaccurate and fake research outcomes to tickle themselves and their followers?
"Here are the facts, and they shall remain so: Bawumia has trailed Mahama in every credible research study since 2022, including the two by the NIB.
"The NDC also leads the NPP by a meaningful l number of seats in Parliament. In fact, according to the NPP’s research findings, seats like Atwima Mponua, Offinso North, and Dome are difficult for the NPP to win.
"John Dramani Mahama is all but the next President of Ghana."
