Asiedu Nketia Cleared Again

Business Entrepreneur, Mr Kwabena Owiredu, said he cannot fathom how some people in the society could decide to spew blatant lies about the ownership of his 53 heavy duty trucks for political expediency.
He vehemently disputes vicious claims, obviously by NPP scandalmongers that his 53 trucks with the inscription “I SEE” belong to the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
The NPP propaganda machine has been in overdrive over the last months in spreading the false information that the NDC chief scribe is the bona fide owner of Mr Kwabena Owiredu’s properties. But the businessman says he is shocked by this deliberate attempt by persons to tarnish his reputation and make nonsense of his long years of hard work.
The hard work of the Kosoa-based businessman has paid off according to him, culminating in his acquiring a range of properties including an estate, 53 heavy duty vehicles, several buildings some of which house four different banks in Kasoa and a block factory (I SEE BLOCK FACTORY & CONSTRUCTION) among others.
Speaking to Neat FM’s morning show host, Adakabre Frimpong Manso, recently, Mr Owiredu, who said he is not a politician and has never set eyes physically on Hon Asiedu Nketia except on television, lamented the deliberate attempt to assign his properties to the NDC General Secretary.
Hon Asiedu Nketia won a defamatory suit against Daily Guide recently when the newspaper published a false story that he owned a plush mansion in Kumasi, which actually belongs to one Eric Darko, an NPP supporter and mining engineer.
A similar attempt was made to make Ghanaians believe the NDC Chief Scribe owns the Grace Filling Station near Ohene Djan’s residence in Sunyani. He was only able to save himself from that lie by cleverly making an announcement to drivers to go for free fuel from the said filling station. When the real owner was overwhelmed by the myriads of the ‘unwanted customers’ he quickly owned up and made a radio announcement to the effect that the trucks belong to him and he didn’t even have any personal rapport with General Mosquito.
It has been a vicious political strategy of the opposition NPP propaganda machine to name NDC gurus after properties of other persons.
