A Lebanese oil and battery recycling company at Kpone Katamanso in the Greater Accra Region was engulfed by fire Wednesday (18 May) morning.

Officers from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) were still fighting the fire as at 6:00am.

The cause of the fire is not known. It is believed items worth millions of cedis have been destroyed.
