International Football scout, Kofi Barwuah has threatened to report Latif Blessing to the Ghana Police Service if he tries to travel outside the country.
Managing director of Liberty Professionals, George Afriyie earlier this week indicated that the Ghana Premier League player of the season has received a bumper offer from South Africa PSL side Ajax Cape town and will be travelling to finalise the deal.
However, according to Barwuah, who liaised between the player and his representatives, and Tunisian side CS Sfaxien, the player can’t travel anywhere since he has no passport.
“Latif can’t travel anywhere. He is just making those claims. His passport is with me and it will be criminal for him to have another passport since they are against the laws of Ghana,” Barwuah told Happy FM's Anopa Bosuo sports.
"I wrote a letter to Liberty last week that I'll take the case to court but they've not replied. I'm also not going to release the boy's passport unless we sit down and have a dialogue."
