LIVESTREAMED: Otumfuo Osei Tutu's 74th birthday dinner

Tonight, the grandeur of Ashanti tradition unfolds at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Jubilee Hall, where a regal birthday dinner is being held in honour of the Asantehene on his 74th birthday.

The exclusive event is graced by the presence of illustrious personalities, including Ga Mantse Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare and former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings.

Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, was born on May 6, 1950. He ascended to the Golden Stool, becoming the 16th Asantehene, on April 26, 1999. He has spent 25 years on the throne.
