Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu-Erkuful has called out to Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus to retract a statement the latter made on Facebook or face a defamatory suit.

Lawyers, on behalf of Ursula Owusu, issued out a statement demanding an apology from the controversial musician over his comments on Facebook allegedly accusing the Minister of being involved in some corruptible activities.

“We are instructed to notify you that our client takes a serious view of your defamatory publication on Facebook and would not hesitate to commence legal action against you if the said publication is not retracted on or before June 1, 2018.

Kwame A Plus’ alleged post on Facebook read: “Kwasi Nyantakyi is only being sacrificed to cover up the $89/178 million KelniGVG stinking scandal.”

The Communications Minister, obviously not happy about the post, further demanded an apology from the outspoken ‘Aben Bebom’ artiste.

“We are also instructed to notify you to render an unqualified apology in the same medium and prominence in the manner that your libelous publication was done,” counsel for the Minister, Gary Nimako Marfo, stated in a letter to the musician.

A Plus, who has been given between now to June 1, is yet to respond to the statement.
