Jake Obeng-Bediako, a presidential staffer has joined a TikTok trend by a popular TikToker who stops people in the streets and asks them about what they do for a living.

Obeng-Bediako, who according to North Tongu lawmaker, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is listed as a presidential staffer with the portfolio, Youth Ambassador for Diaspora Affairs, answered a range of questions in the TikTok video sighted by GhanaWeb.

The one minute-13 seconds video was first posted on TikToker @hikhann's account on April 16, 2024; according to GhanaWeb checks.

GhanaWeb checks show that the video was filmed outside the country.

The interaction between the two went as follows:

TikToker: What do you do for a living

Jake: Not much.

TikToker: What are you passionate about?

Jake: Life and living.

TikToker: Advice for persons struggling with life and living.

Jake: Take a step back and realize all your blessings.

TikToker: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Jake: Living a better life than I am living now.

TikToker: Outfit rundown.

Jake: Sweatshirt and pants from Zara, Jimmy Choo shoes and sunglasses Raybarn.

TikToker: If tomorrow was not promised what would you do and last meal?

Jake: Have a really big party with all friends and family, rice with peanut butter soup.

According to a profile of his sighted by GhanaWeb, "Jake is a cultural strategy consultant with half a decade of experience in connecting governments, global brands and organizations with African youth and diaspora audiences."

It added: "In his current role at the Office of the President, where he develops special engagement strategies, evidence of his expertise in designing and implementing high impact initiatives is seen in the outcomes of Ghana's 2019 Year of Return initiative and the 2022 Global Citizen Festival in Accra."
