Failed United States vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, is planning a tour of Ghana to support a yet to be identified political party. President Mills, former presidents Kufuor and Rawlings are expected to meet Palin at the airport.
The trip to Ghana is expected to cost $1 million.
Palin will be paid $250,000 to give a speech at the University of Ghana, Legon on the 15th of April. She will get a further $100,000 for a speech at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & technology.
A controversy is erupting over Palin's speaking engagement at the campus of Legon.
A student protest group and other critics want the university to put the $250,000 to better use.
