And all that the user before you suggested can very easily be FORGED in Ghana. None of them will guarantee a passenger's safety. For instance tagging a number to a vehicle can be temporary covered it a magnetic inscription of a different number.
I believe passengers should enhance their safety by avoiding very early or late travels. Passengers should organize group travels - two or more people travelling at the same time, avoid taking too much cash on them etc ...

When I asked him for the change, he told to hold on and that he will give it to me. With tens of cameras and security gadgets, till this hour, not a single person has been identified. They used a stolen car and mounted a fake number plate on it.
