Accra, July 5, GNA - Broll Ghana, a property services company engage= d in residential, retail, office and industrial interests is managing more than $100 million worth of properties in Ghana.
Established in May 2006, the company offers the full spectrum of property-related services including commercial broking, property valuations= , retail leasing and consulting, corporate real estates, facilities management, property management, shopping centre management, project management and residential estate management. Mr Moses Luri, Marketing Manager of Broll Ghana, made this known in Accra on Tuesday when the corporate entity organised a clean up exercise an= d donated a number of items to the Ridge Hospital authorities as part of the five years anniversary of the company.
The exercise, which is part of the corporate social responsibilities o= f the company, attracted about 30 workers who trimmed hedges at the round about of the hospital, cleared weeds and swept the premises. The items the company donated included a mower, wheel barrow, brooms, shovels, detergents and toilet rolls. "Some of the properties we manage include the Accra Mall, A&C Square= , Ridge Tower. For the past five years, we have worked with the aim of maximising the property potential of our client's. "This is seen in the results we achieve on the various properties un= der our management," Mr Luri said. In addition to the close ties with Broll companies in South Africa, Nigeria, Malawi and Namibia, the Ghanaian operation enjoys affiliate status with CB Richard Ellis, the world's largest property services company bringing representation to more than 20 countries and more than 100 offices globally.
Mr Francis Obeng, Head of Finance and Administration of Broll Ghana, who presented the items to the hospital, said he expected property owners t= o keep their surroundings clean, adding: 93It doesn't cost much for one to= keep the environment clean." Dr Obeng Apori, Medical Director of the hospital, lauded the clean up exercise carried out by Broll Ghana and the donation of the items, saying a healthy nation facilitates a healthy economy. He said the hospital, which was built in 1928, had kept running becaus= e of the culture of maintenance.
Dr Apori said the medical facility would soon be transformed into a modern hospital to among other things check congestion. As part of the month-long celebration Broll Ghana would organise a property management press seminar, golf invitational tournament for corporate executives and organise an orphanage outreach service.
