Sister Act: Yvonne Okoro encourages Roseline to move on?

Yvonne Okoro and her sister Roseline have been in the news in the past few months for one reason or the other, but predominantly with the issue surrounding the latter’s failure to make the top three of the recently concluded Miss Ghana 2012 which Carranzer Naa Okailey Shooter emerged winner out of eighteen contestants.

Big sister-Yvonne took over to the Twitter social network to lampoon the organizers with her statement which had words like, ‘sexual bias’ and ‘vote rigging’ embedded in the sentence. Analysts have also come out from all spheres of the entertainment industry to air their views.

Though Roseline missed out of the top three spots, she didn’t go home empty handed as she grabbed the SMS Queen award on that night.

Though Yvonne wasn’t happy, but her misery rather drew a ludicrous remark from Inna Patty, the organizer, who said, “she is completely ignorant and does not know the definition of cheating. Ghanaians picked up the phone and voted and who voted? Rosaline Okoro [won the popular vote], do you call that rigging?”

Inna went on to state that, “Roseline Okoro’s performance, she added, on the night was not the best, “those who deserve to be in the top three [got there] and everybody is happy about it. It is a shame that people are out there trying to tarnish the reputation of our new queen and believe you me, we will not let her go scot free.”
