How can death threats not constitute a great worry!! How did he fathom the accident car of the disgraced main witness during the frivolous Petition at the Supreme Court, Dr. Bawumia as being caused by enemies when he cannpot take the warnings given to Mr. Ampong??   Sir John has again failed to give the proper response to an issue that could badly damage the Party's image.
  
  Having come off a barrage of criticisms on how the Party reacted to Tarzan and others for expressing unpopular views, the Party stands to lose credibility even more steeply with this story and the death threats as a champion of free speech and real democracy.
  
  Sir John's comment without much explanation as to why he deems the death threat trivial, portrays him as ready and willing to endorse murder for all who disagree with the Party's leadership. If he only meant the death threat story was trivial because there was no bases to believe it, he should have explicitly said so. The way he dismissed the threat seems to easily follow a pattern that indicates certain acceptability by Sir John for intolerance and even violence to deal with issues.
  
  The life of Mr. Ampong should not be trivialized. Neither should the image of the Party.

  I couldn't agree with you more! The NPP is fast carving an image for itself as a criminal organization. It is like a kind of Mafia in which the Capo di capo is always right. And the gang members who disagree with the leadership do so at their own risk!
  
  It is interesting that a person like Sir John is the General Secretary of the NPP. In the past, the NPP used to boast that they had "the men". It is becoming increasingly clear that the rather have "the fools"!
  
  I pray that the NPP keeps Sir John as their General Secretary for the second term. It will be a well-deserved punishment for a party that never learns anything! that way, it will make the task of returning the silly elephant back into the bush a "cold chop"!
