Muntari warns Juventus ahead of epic Serie A clash

AC Milan’s Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has warned Italian champions Juventus that they will be fully prepared and well rested for their Serie A clash this weekend.

The Rossoneri have been in blistering form since the start of the season with the Ghanaian playing a key role in their in their victories in the opening two matches of the season.

Muntari scored when they opened their season with a 3-1 win over Lazio before seeing off Parma 5-4 in a thrilling match on Sunday night.

AC Milan are not top of the Serie A table on goal difference ahead of title rivals Juventus and Roma and with their match against the Old Lady scheduled for Saturday, Muntari has warned that they will be up for the fight.

“We have the desire of the coach. We’ve shown we can do well even after losing some important players through injury,” Muntari said hinting that even though they have several players on the injury list.

“We can’t forget that we have lots of different alternatives in the squad that can help us. We are doing well and this is important. Against Juventus we also want to do well. However, let’s think about resting for now.”
