we have got to be realistic here; sarkodie has disappointed me big time with this dishonesty, if in fact he did not seek Nas's permission before using his song. In America or other nations, we have heroes, legends, that new generation learn a lot from or pay tribute, but here when u do it, they say you are copying. smh. Listen to the song and shut up if u have nothing positive to say. It's true they say "Ghana, the only country without a Hero". To those saying one way this blah blah, listen, this guy has sparked a whole new generation in rapping in Twi, respect him for that.

So now u know royalties. When was the last time u bought a song to support an artist. Ofcourse u gonna lie, and say u have done so before. Also in America here there are laws that allows fair usage of materials as long as u don't gain, sarkodie just freestyled for god sake taking us through events in his life. Appreciate the fact learn from the message and move on. Ppl like u always ready to pull down. If u are a hiplife fan u will know most of the old school hiplife artists used lots of popular melodies in their songs. Even big artists do that so relax. This is hiphop u know nothing. Sarkodie has been the only GH export in our new generation when it comes to music and it's sad to see his own are trying to pull him down. Oh Ghana.

You don't know me so don't give me that crap! The guy has abused someone's intellectual property and you have the nerve to ask me about when the last time I purchased songs to support artists. FYI, I don't use to iPod or any of the latest stuff, I purchase cds and play them in my car. I buy so many of them from two or three places whenever I visit Ghana, I need to visit the same suppliers coz they know my style. and trust me, i visit ghana every four to six months and so invest a lot in my local musicians.
People like you will never help us put Ghana on the bigger world map. Appreciate what message? Unlike you, my background does not encourage dishonesty or the abuse of other people's creations so live in your darkness.

and just so you know, those of us drawing his attention to the potential illegality in his use of other people's work are rather helping him. Again, stop your 18th century mentality because if sarkodie wants to stay at the top, then he needs to come up with his own songs or sample other releases with permission. You are pulling him down with your ignorance. Just ask him to continue on that track illegally and see if he will win any international award again.

For God sake the point here in he lyrical content. Just listen and learn something oseifour. Ah. U sound so jealous. Nature of a woman. Shame on u, the guy has over 10000 freestyles over known beats before he blew, it ain't nothing new. Even if Bad hears this and take legal action, it's a great thing bcuz it shows bad recognizes Sark as another great to worry this much about his material being abused. U think Nas cares to waste time? Go to youtube and see bunch of songs people do covers, den everyone would be sued. Hahaha Oh woman. Skin pain nkoaa. Sarkodie will take another international award, even as I'm speaking he's nominated for world music awards, we don't care if he doesn't win, he's making GH proud with just a recognition and guess what he's doing it in twi. Lol

which people said he could not make it? and which kind of hole do you live in? You think I have the time to be debating on those low achievers who call themselves superstars in ghana? you probably have not stepped a foot at the aflao border so you have no clue what is international masterpiece.
In ghana, anything goes but elsewhere, he could even go to jail for that. yes, Nas may not care to pursue this, but trust me, let this be brought up at any international award forum and IF he DID NOT acquire the necessary permit to use the track, that will be his end at the international level. It is extremely disgraceful, and for you to be defending that only tells me and others your own level of integrity. Besides, you do have inferiority complex written all over you in your posts, so you think it will even be an achievement for Sarkodie if Nas sues him; oh my God, i am shaking my bigger head at you. really, it will be an achievement for Nas to waste his time on Sarkodie, and you think I am jealous of him, someone who has no belief in himself and will basically lick the foot of the people, including Nas, whom I have no reason to hold in high esteem? Are you really serious? I wonder what you do, because apparently, you have nothing to be proud of hence the hope that someone like Nas suing Sarkodie, the supposed pride of Ghana, will be an achievement. No wonder we have all these resources and yet kowtow to other nations with little to no natural resources for help.
Sarkodie is talented, and if he goes about tapping it the right way, the sky will be his limit. if he listens to idiots with your kind of inferiority complex who feel you can always achieve just one per cent of others from the rest of the world, he should consider himself done. You see, Whitney Houston made it big with other people's songs, but those were legal, and royalties were paid to them. if the illegal abuse of other people's creation is what you term the pride of ghana then i wonder the kind of training you are giving your kids if you have any, or if the Good Lord makes the mistake of blessing you with one. I told you you don't know me so don't call me names. My emphasis on legal use of other people's work as well as the disgust i express at the Ghana man or woman's perception of anything coming from the west as the best should tell you i compete at the international level, genuinely, and I am a success. To hell with you telling me i am jealous of sarkodie. who the hell is he? I don't compete with his and your ilk. i don't even know his songs, because i prefer the typical ghanaian highlife. I will attend a concert by kwabena kwabena or amakye dede any day, but ask me if your sarkodie will ever be among my entertainers, and the answer is hell no! if i want to listen to rap music, i can listen to better tracks from my back yard.
Those authentic ghanaian highlife is what distinctly separate us from the rest of the world, and I proudly give those as gifts to my non ghanaian friends. if i want to be less authentic but relatively close to our identity, guess what, I go for R2B or RuffNSmooth rather than your sarkodie. I don't even listen to American rap music so please continue drooling over this mess you call a masterpiece alone.
