Good reputation is what is important not the money your fighting for.

I was hard on Ayittey Powers earlier on but after hearing his explanation, I think he got a point in seeking for a better contract. With three major sponsors on board who did not feature in the earlier contract who have brought in more money, the boxers should be duly compensated.
My understanding is that 30,000 tickets have been sold and if the average price of the ticket is ten cedis, that is GHc300,000. Each of the boxers will earn 30,000 Ghana cedis without the sponsors money.
Ayittey is not as dumb as Banku, he wants to be compensated accordingly because this is his career.

You know, it's so funny to me the way everyone is criticsing Ayitey Powers and branding him a coward.Well, it's evidently clear that people don't understand the business side of boxing. for those who don't know; let me tell you that boxing is a business, and in every business you must consider your interest. Let me tell you something; i never knew Powers was such a smart and intelligent guy. In fact, if you're looking for a business brain, go and see Ayitey Powers. You see, at the time Powers signed the contract with the promoter there were no sponsors on board, which Powers have stated categorically clear. As a result the contract was signed based on the promoters purse. However, the fight has attracted three major sponsors, namely: Tv 3, Supersports and Kasapreko. You and i know that sponsors don't come on board for free. Now, if Powers should stick by the old contract, what it means is that the promoter is gong to make huge, huge profit. I mean, all the sponsors money will go into his pocket. All Ayitey Powers is saying is that if this fight has attract some sponsors who have brought in money then i deserve my share; after all he's the one going to fight; therefore, lets draw a new contract to that effect. Instead of the GBA protecting the interest of the boxer and boxers in general, they are talking nonsense. Most of our ex-boxers are so poor they can't even afford three square meals a day. Powers, stick to your guns, either he makes an amendment to the contract or forget it.

As far as I have investigated however there is no book in antiquity that comes anywhere close to the accuracy and reliability of the Bible, which recounts how JESUS CHRIST, the Son of God, lived a perfect life, died for the sins of the world and rose again from the dead on the third day to give life eternal to all who believe in Him, saving them from the power of sin and death and the eternal fires of hell.
It would be very interesting to see what you have that disproves the very hallmark of truth. Thank you in advance for sharing!

As far as I have investigated however there is no book in antiquity that comes anywhere close to the accuracy and reliability of the Bible, which recounts how JESUS CHRIST, the Son of God, lived a perfect life, died for the sins of the world and rose again from the dead on the third day to give life eternal to all who believe in Him, saving them from the power of sin and death and the eternal fires of hell.
