We should encourage our overworked and underpaid cocoa farmers to switch to food crops such as maze rice vegetables etc rather than stick to the cultivation of cocoa which involves back-breaking work for peanuts. If our Western friends want to continue to eat cheap chocolate then they may have to cultivate their own cocoa.After all they now have the technological know-how and now that there is a new god called Artificial Intelligence(AI) this is now a possibility (I am not joking) .I say we should encourage our poor farmers to switch to growing food crops or at least diversify into other easier to cultivate much more profitable cash crops.
