1.Ability to try new ideas ,see opportunities. They think outside the box.
2.Once they get an idea they go to the next step which is evaluate its feasibility. Is there demand for it? Is it marketable (i.e they do their research and due diligence)
3. Successful entrepreneurs and business men or women are adaptable and flexible when faced with changing conditions.
4.Successful business leaders tend to be courageous, tenacious and take informed risks (they are not reckless). They are not put off by temporary setbacks because they tend to think long-term.
5. Successful people tend to see opportunities where others see none. “Some of the most successful startups have taken existing products or services and drastically improved them to meet the changing needs of the market.”.
6.The reason most entrepreneurs and businesses fail is because of the absence of the above traits or failure to recognise their importance. Most start -up businesses fail because many beginner entrepreneurs lack discipline, lack perseverance and fail to re-invest profits in order to make the business grow. As soon as they start making a profit they start to spend it in order to impress others or prove that they are successful. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF PATIENCE AND DELAYED GRATIFICATION.
I don't want to belittle your academic achievements but you may have to put them aside at least for now and start anew as per my comments above. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and don't let anyone discourage you with their insults and criticisms. HAVE COURAGE. Good luck and God bless.

Just a little flashback. How do you rate your educators now? After all they gave you a wide smile of approval when you were called to receive your first class certificate. Do you think they are useful at all?

As a young and new graduate, you priority is to land a job , save money while you seek to further your education . At this point in time one will guess that your main focus is to go abroad and probably further your education. If furthering your education is your priority, you can pursue that in any of Ghana’s universities.

Reduce your expectations and start from somewhere wai. Employers employs based on skill sets and attitude. Add value not necessary MBA, it could be professional certifications and some IT skills.

The likes of agba mame in tema and so many of such didn't have and actually have demonstrated that,it's not certificates that matters most to be successful in one's career. Your case is a classical example of what has become of our youth and their perception of the essence of education. Erroneously for them, education is about certification and certificates and not the creative empowerment education is supposed to and offers.

Sister all the best in your search. And my advice is concentrate more on your second option of pursuing masters abroad for our so called leaders in Ghana have nothing god for you. Secondly, don't let any man take advantage of you for a job for this has become a norm in Ghanaian society.
All the best, stay blessed.

Academics alone isn't enough. Even abroad, graduates in your field can't find jobs too. Go back to learn something that people need every day. That is what will bring you success.

The purpose of education is to equip one with knowledge and use the knowledge to enter into venture to make a living. The CEO of Adinkra pie enterprise is a MAN and product of KNUST . After his national service he began to enter the pastry business with the money he saved during his national service period . He had a friend during his secondary school days whose mother was in the pastry business. He learnt the pastries and made it his business after university education. Today he is counted among the billionaire in Ghana and West Africa. The lady should sit down and plan bankable entrepreneurial project and submit it to Former President Kuffour's foundation for startup business. The foundation will help her to bring her hard and soft skills to fruition . God be her helper.
