The ECOWAS rail transport system if indeed implemented should be a very laudable idea. Unfortunately since none of the member states is a manufacturer of railways' coaches, engines and all the etceteras, I suggest we look at where in the world this systems is already in existence and very efficient. I know many of us want to be looking at the USA/Canada. I wish however want to differ by suggesting we turn to Europe particularly France for a very efficient rails traffic management and robust stable trains.Then we can find out from Belguim about their solar ran technology on trains to comp^lete it.

It's always better to think of LONG TERM INVESTMENT,rather than going for,cheaper but lasting shorter(not considering qualitatively).
