Other less blessed countries have done it. Ghana is the most blessed.

Ah where would you find such people with "long term ideas" and how would you put them in power?
If you like the action that has been reported, why not encourage or push the people who put out this action to do more?

That exactly what they're going to do. Already, they have served notice to all that have built unauthorized structures along Accra-Tema motorway stretch to get ready to move out.

Investors have recognised Ghana has economic potential and they are lining up to do business with it. It is up to Ghana to allow sanity to prevail in its political conduct to reap the benefit of this recognition. Rampant political agitation by the people and/or industrial strife does not help to achieve this objective. Recent events in the country indicate that our infant democracy is running too fast for its own good! A true democracy means co-operation and not confrontation. The latter leads to a destruction of the country and we don't think that is what we want; do we? We must, therefore, advise the country's political players to be prudent in exercising political duties.

You see, govt should stop extending electricity to remote areas now.It does not make any sense to supply unproductive areas with the scarce electricity. If you are producing lesser electricity than the actual demands then it does not make any technical sense to distribute electricity to villages where there are no industries.I think this is the problem the govt is facing today.By trying to distribute electricity to many unproductive villages, towns and communities to score a political goal.If this backward trend does not change and concentrate electricity in only productive areas then dumsor will continue for a very long time.Thank you.
