Wife butchering husband nabbed by the Nyinahin police

Nyinahin (Ash) Jan 5, GNA - Sahulu Issah, a 27-year old farmer who murdered the wife at Dodowa, a cottage near Nyinahin in the Atwima-Mponua District and fled, has been nabbed by the police. He was arrested at Mowa, a farming community in neighbouring Cote d' Ivoire.

Superintendent of Police Samuel Aluredey, the Nyinahin District Police Commander, told the Ghana News Agency that the suspect would soon be brought to justice.

Issah has been married to Salufa for five years and they have two kids, the youngest aged seven months. The couple picked a quarrel and the woman left the matrimonial home to stay with relatives.

Issah paid a visit to the w ife on November 19, 2009, and was warmly received by the deceased. She was at the kitchen preparing a meal for the husband when Issah drew a machete and butchered her to death. n
