He has been given a world stage to shine but Atuguba seems to be afraid of Tsatsu. He allows him to disagree with his rulings in open court. He doesn't show respect to Addison who is representing the views of a greater number of Ghanaians. If Atuguba cannot stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.

I get a sense of feeling you are getting frustrated with the court proceeding because it isn't going the way you expect it to flow. Well that is your cup of tea. If we were to do things your way, the case would have been brought to your court for your kind of thinking, sometime political animals like this writer write as if they know more than everybody including the 9 justices on the case. The petitioners are in court with pink sheets and talking about the face of it and making allegations of non compliance to law, but aren't comfortable when being grilled on the rules for presenting affidavit evidence, funny world. If they also wanted the truth they would have requested for an audit as against the physical ballots in the ballot boxes which are safely sealed. Rockson Adofo sorry for you, you thought the justices were simply going to count your pink sheets and check against your analysis and bam, NPP declared winners, hohoho! That is why Bawumia is frustrated and keep mentioning 'it was only used in our analysis once' That can only happen in your type of court. Lets wait for the addresses and you will realize how useless your case is. Cross examination is just building foundation for the case so relax and wait for the real show.

Kofi, don't think its only Ghanaians who are listening or watching this land mark dispute of election in a Court. Some prominent Constitutional Lawyers who are savvy in election procedures elsewhere are watching it at their leisure times and to be frank with you, the Judges should sit up and control the proceedings and get this issue completed in timely manner. The Judges on their part risk to be laughing stocks if they are unable to come with constructive judgement backed with legal writings. What about the Ghanaian populace? Your judgement may be same as mine. E&OE.

We have to be very careful with the way and manner Atugugba is conducting himself. I personnaly think he is not being fair and he is not acting in the interest of the Country but rather, representing a party in the suit.

I think the Judiciary has been presented with the finest of opportunities to make an indelible mark on their names in history. At the same time, based on my experience witht the courts and without prejudice, I know the bench would not want to make good name but will rely on bribes to pass bad judgement.
The Judiciary for sometime has received a lot of bashing as being corrupt. I cannot help but agree. I am saying this because I followed a story that concerned SRC elections of Central University with regards to constitutional violations and imposition of leaders on students by management. In the said case after the petitioners (agrieved students)presented incriminating evidence to their lawyers from AWOONOR Chambers, he allegedly received a bribe of $12,000 and $20,000 went to the judge who was sitting on the case. Interestingly, i was in the court one day when the judge passed a comment suggeting to the student petitioners that instead of studying they are fighting over elections. I knew that the court case would end nowhere after those irresponsible comments coming from an arbitre. I thought the judge should have rather praised the students for coming to court and not resorting to violence as has been experienced in many universities or better still remained mute to judge the case on its merits. A fews days later I followed the petitioners to court only for the Judge to announce that the case had been "struck out" without any reason. Amazing! Isn't it? I was not much surprised when some of us later got to know that Central University College allegedly bribed the petitioners lawyer from AWOONOR Chambers and also compromised the judge. I was angered by the decision of the court and decided to get the petitioners to have access to the media to let and tell their story. I made arrangements with TV3, Metro TV and NET2 TV and numerous radio stations but the petitioners refused to show up and insisted that they did not want to damage the image of the school in the media. I personally wrote articles on the matter but had to give up because the petitioners themselves were not ready to assist.
My concern is, what is the interest of the school authorities to decide on the leaders of the council? What do the authorities stand to gain? When are they going to stop imposing leaders on the students? Is it not an indictment on the quality of products from the school? We live to see!

Freelance Journalist, please get your facts right and stop misleading the public. Why would Central University College spend $32,000 for an issue that has to deal with students. Who becomes the SRC President is not a such importance to the University. What is important is that there is a SRC president. Your article did not mention the very interested party in this matter, the SRC executives who were given the mandate to lead the students. Were you there when the bribe was given, or are you basing you allegation on the statement the Judge made, don't be petty. Kindly stop trying to tarnish the hard earned reputation of the University because you wouldn't get anywhere with this. The Lord is watching, and any seed you sow is like to come to you as your harvest.
