Corruption is everywhere & no one seems to take responsibility of anything
Ghana is not moving Forward;actually not moving at all!
Very Sad State of Affairs!!

The politicians should fear the people not the other way around. But your observations are valid and an indication of what the thinkers should be pushing to the politicians.

In Ghana it appears like we vote without any strong basis. This is because all the information is not available for the electorate. Even if it is available the issues are not well understood. Hence it appears people approach the whole issue like we support football teams. Consequently people win depending which party ticket they are contesting on.
Parliamentarians are not accountable to the electorate at the local level. Instead they are more answerable to their parties. Perhaps a nonpartisan way of choosing them can change the situation. Or a system can be put in place to insure accountability at the local.
