The only thing obvious from this article is its incisive deconstruction of the arguments of the learned justices in question to show how legally weak and fallacious they are.

I blame the NDC and Mahama's lawyers for doin ...

Akpalu, earned his LLM in 1999. He works in both Ghana and New York. I am just curious who he works for in Ghana.

  • ke 10 years ago

You can't practice in the US with L.L.M. even from Harvard. May be paralegal.

  • Mary 10 years ago

Interesting this what I found about him on google:
"John Akpalu also has a law practice in New York
and spends time between New York and the Ghana office.
He is available for consultation on Ghana Law"

  • Ghanaian Patriot 10 years ago

Mr. Akpalu, their analysis were not wrong, but their conclusions, were - 'Annulment' of votes. As rightly said, nowhere in the constitution were non signature of Presiding Officers ought to lead to annulment of votes. I am ...

Great analysis, I think these three judges have been blinded by their political affiliation. JSC Bamfoe Bonnie did a great job on his analysis and conclusion

This an impressive piece. But those consumed by politics may not see it that way.

Moreover, this election was a very close one therefore excessive errors of this nature were significant enough to have tilted the outcome. A recount at the very least would have been in order.

    Did d petitioners asked for a re-run?

  • Boamah Gyamerah. 10 years ago

It is about Ghana and its future and not about the petitioner who have all been public servants just like the and the nine SC Judges but you people don`t get it because politics has over shadow your reasoning abilities.

You are struggling to make sense but ironically accusing more knowledgeable people of ignorance.Your problem is expression.

What is the essence of knowledge if it cannot be applied to solve even day to day problems. Knowledge without reasoning is rather destructive. That is why Ghana and Africa has a lot of problems.
