I do not believe in Africans taken part in the Slave trade because during those days, our ancestors barely writes and their White visitors, having sensed that "exit" door, used it against them by implicating their deep and acceptable role in the slavery. Talk about restitution and the focus always is on the Jews. What about the native American, Australians, Africans etc and how many Russians died during the second world war? At times, we are being fed with twisted fact to let some people gain the upper hand.
We should cast our memory back and see how natives whose mistake was being on their own land, were systematically pushed to the brink of annihilation and whose fault it is? Whites are always looking for an easy prey and they found it at the door steps of natives scattered across the universe namely, the Americas, Africa, Australia, the far East etc.
Christianity and Islam spread through senseless war and forcibly conquest. Evidence abound in the Americas, Africa etc and while Christianity had put their brakes on such despicable acts, Islam is still practicing it. What is the sense in "terror acts"? It is a way to put fears in those who will rise up against them. No matter how detestable terrorism maybe, at times, it takes a different face to altogether.
What we have to remember is that as long as people walk this planet, wars or whatever it is, may not leave us alone. At times people living in their own nation are treated like second class citizen by their rulers whose ineptness will push them to take up arms and act against authority. Even in the good books, Lucifer and his followers rebelled against the Creator himself so, hellooooo.

If you see a smoke rising from somewhere it means somebody is trying to light a fire isn't it. Look our political posture is not that good but not to the point of "total annihilation. Before someone will make a statement like this "All die be die" what should not exit our mind is, that person was pushed.
Remember the "Inward looking" statement by Victor Owusu. How many people have ever asked why that statement was made? When frustration sets in at times, there is only one thing left "to blow the lid open".
Before the advent of the White man, tribal wars are a common phenomenon and the White themselves are at fault. We have read about the Barbarians etc so, in such cases, anything can happen and who is to blame? In the "dark ages" it is survival the strongest. As I said in my comment, Lucifer and his supporters rebelled against the Creator himself and that is how we human will live for till we breath our last breathe. Wars will never exit us because we benefit from it. Physical Trans Atlantic slavery may be a thing of the past but it has taken another deadly form which is quite obvious.

A monkey one day managed to break free from the laboratory where he had been born and brought up.
As he scurried away from the fencing of the compound, he felt grass under his little feet and saw the dawn breaking for the first time in his life.
"Wow, this is great," he thought. It wasn't long before he came to a hedge and after squeezing under it he saw a wonderful sight.
Lots of other monkeys, all free and nibbling on bananas. "Hey," he called. "I'm a monkey from the laboratory and I've just escaped.
Are you wild monkeys?" "Yes. Come and join us," they cried.
Our friend trotted over to them and started eating the bananas. It tasted so good. "What else do you wild monkeys do?" he asked. "Well," one of them said. "You see that field there? It's got carrots growing in it. We dig them up and eat them." This, he couldn't resist and he spent the next hour eating the most succulent carrots. They were wonderful.
Later, he asked them again, "What else do you do?" "You see that tree there? It's got papayas growing in it. We eat that as well." The papayas tasted just as good and he returned a while later completely full. "It's fantastic out here in the world" he told them. "So are you going to live with us then?" one of them asked. "I'm sorry, I had a great time but I can't." The wild monkeys all stared at him, a bit surprised. "Why? We thought you liked it here." "I do," our friend replied. "But I must get back to the lab. I'm dying for a cigarette."
The monkey is like a house nigger who escaped to be among his fellow Monkeys but still wants to go back.
Africans aided the slave trade.
No white man will come to our homes and capture us unless we give in.
There are many African Americans who worked in the white man's home and preferred to be slaves to live better than their fellow blacks.
Whether the white man organised merchant ships or had insurance on the slaves, its the same like the Africans capturing their fellow men and giving them to the colonialist.

The conquest of the Mexicans Aztecs was made possible by a ldy Aztec who was used to spy and collate infoprmation. Africans were accomplices. But as for slavery it predates Islam and Christianity. We read the Jews being slave s in Egypt and later naomi being a slave girl in a Jewish household . What we must understand is Africans for unknown reasons , maybe because we are strong and work hard have been used by both powers . Both Islam and Christiany are alien to Africa so why should we fight in their cause . The two religions have been fighting for ages leading o the crusades . Mono atheism started from Africa by way of a Pharoah. We can create our own God instead of being slaves to alien religions that indoctrinate us with their cultures . The two religions have eradicate dour cultures and made these alien cultures the norm

Hello,
First, see the works of the Israeli/Jewish scholar "The Invetion of the Jewish People" (Dr. Shlomo Sand) and his other works on Jewish history. This book was a bestseller in Israel for many weeks.
Read the ancient Roamno-Jewish writer Josephus.
There is no archaelogical/anthropoligical evidence to prove that Jews were enslaved in Egypt.
In fact, there is no evidence that Jews were even in Egypt (besides what the Bible and Torah tell us).
Jewish ssecular scholarship claims the Egyptians used them to build the pyriamids (and other ancient Egyptian strctures).
If you follow classical chronologyy, all the structures in ancient Egypt were in place even before the first Hebrew, not to talk of Jews, Abraham, and his family came to Egypt. Therefore, you are woefully wrong.
Jewish scholars are uncomfortable talking about this little aspect of their ancient history.
Plus, investigate what "jew" and "hebrew" mean if they are even the same. Those we know who went to Egypt, even if that's true, were the ancient Hebrews. The word "jew" doesn't have a long history.
See also the works of the American (Felasha-Jew, now Beta Israel. Felasha is derogatory these days) Dr. Josef Ben-Jochannan and Dr. Theophile Obenga.
You may also google or youtube "Dr. Yosef Ben-Yochannan Vs. Rabbi Arthur Seltzer."
As to the Mayans and Axtecs, we can explore them in detail.
Send me an email (franciskkwarteng@yahoo.com).
Thanks.

Hello Kojo T
The Bible is a collection of books written by human beings, not by God. Many parts of the Bible come from other cultures.
There are many things in the Bible that are directly stolen from ancient Egyptian culture. Judaism, for instance, directly comes out of ancient Egyptian religion.
Many Biblical ideas come from Mesopotamia, Babylon, Sumeria, etc. Presenty, Jewish scolars accept many of these facts.
The story of the Flood, for instance, comes from the "Epic of Gilgamesh." Every knowledgeable and fair-minded Jewish scholar and Rabbi will tell you this.
There are so many lies (White) Jews have told the world (see the references I gave in the article--Norman Finkelstein, Edwin Black, and Lenni Brenne, etc, are all Jews). Dr. Shlomo Sand is a Jew. Proving that Jesus existed is another matter.
Dr. Finkelstein, for instance, has lost his job as a professor in America for revealing to the world many lies told by Jews.
Have you heard of Bernard Madoff, the New York Jewish Wall Street busineeman who stole well over and squandered $60 billion, and is presently serving about 150 years in prison? Jews are not God and are not prouder than anyone?
Have you heard of the "Lemba Tribe" in Southern Africa (Zimbabwe, etc)? Read about them and the DNA analysis done on them (two Jewish Oxford University geneticists did this work in the 90s).
There's no one monolithic group called "Jew." There are Jews of different colors scattered all over the world. Unfortunately, those who have political and financial power and control world Jewry are European (German Ashkenazi Jews). They don't respect Jews who traditionally come outside of Germany.
Felasha or Beta Israel Jesw (Ethiopia) are third-class citizens in Israel. Google Dr. Josef Ben-Jochannan for more information on these questions. For the first time in Israeli, an Ethiopian Jewish woman became Ms. Israel..go to BBC and read his interview to find out why White Jews in Israel will ask her to leave the country.
Who has power over defining wgo a "Jew" is? German Jews (European) wield this power in modern Isreal. Felasha women are almost "slaves" in Israel. They were forced to change many of their ancient rituals and traditions before being formally accepted into mainstream Israeli society. So don't think Jews (European ones) are better or holier than the rest of humanity. They are not.
Neither can the so-called Jew, you, or I can prove the existence of Jesus. That's why there is a historical Jesus and there's a Biblical Jews. Which of the two are you referring to?
Even the concept of "trinity" came straight out of ancient Egypt. Talk or read any Biblical scholar on this one. Read about ancient Egyptian religion, church history, to find out how the Catholic Church took the idea of trinity out of Egypt and introduced it into Christianity. Have you heard of the Black Madonna?
Read Ivan Van Sertimer's "African Presence in Early Europe," Reza Aslan's "Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth," and Max I. Dimont's "Jews, God, and History." The latter is Jewish and he tells you Jews/Hebrews did "child or ritual sacrifice" (remember Abraham and Isaac).
Dimont will tell you that Abraham's encounter with God when God offered Abraham ram instead of Isaac brought the sacrifice of children to God to an end in ancient Judaism.
Even the ancient Hebrews/Jewish gave many attributes of Baal, the ancient Caananite God, to the Biblical God.
So, don't think Jews are saints. When I have time, I shall send you many writings and ideas attributed to Solomon, for instance, which came out of ancient Egypt. Remember Egypt was the most powerful intellectual/cultural force in that region. Some have even speculated Moses must have been Egyptian, not Hebrew.
Let me end here.

Yesterday,I wrote about the African Elite in the diaspora and the need to return home. Those Africans who were transported to America and who built Europe and America have just recently sufficiently cleared themselves of the shackle of slavery, emancipation and segregation and are on course to be fully absorbed into full membership of the country they built and call home. With Obama as president of America it looks like Eurocentric is coming to terms with this reality.
Perhaps the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States may have signalled real progress in bridging America's long-standing racial divide? The new influx of Africans to Europe and America may be attributed to globalization and the search for knowledge but having achieve those goals is it not time to address the African question? Maybe they are too numerous to even contemplate a solution.
The African Diaspora has been defined as the forced and brutal dislocation of millions of Africans into foreign lands during the African Slave Trade; it is the global community of Africans and their descendants living outside the African continent that make up what is known today as the African Diaspora.
It has been well documented that over the years, and regardless of more than enough evidence to the contrary, Eurocentric historians like Arnold Toynbee and Hugh Trevor-Roper , and racist anthropologists, sociologists and classicists from Tillinghast to Mary Lefkowitz , maintain that Africa has no history worth talking about until the arrival of Europeans, and that neither did her peoples make any significant contributions towards the sum total of human civilization, ancient or modern.
It is primarily as a result of this rather bizarre and inhuman interpretation of what constitutes culture and what constitutes history, that the African-American, because of his African ancestry, has been considered to be "culturally and historically bankrupt. For many social scientists and historians, the connection between Africa and the African American children of the Diaspora is tenuous at best. Other than owing their physical traits to native Africans, Americans of African descent are not thought to have much in common with Africans.
Of course, Europe needed to perpetrate the lie that Africa had no history or culture in order to pave the way to the culture of slavery, colonialism, and racism which she later established at the expense of people of African descent. However Molefi Asante Dr Konotey Ahulu and co are trying to set the record straight by debunking the lie that Africa has no history and that they have not made any significant contribution to civilization.
I watched Adam Hochschild’s program on BBC 2 and I was wondering whether our immediate history should be told by a westerner even though he made a very compelling case for the people of the Congo and the brutality of Leopold culminating in the west's brutal assassination of Patrice Lumumba an African patriot. If we leave our history to be told by whites we should not blame them for telling it from their point of view.
With the attainment of self government of most African states well over fifty years the Eurocentric is still accusing us of lacking skills in good governance as the root course of our corruption. Are they lying! Our challenge now as a people is the political will to embark on deep-cleaning of corruption from our society. But as we seem to recognize this major problem, the scourge of radical Islam and terrorism is beginning to rear its ugly head. The conspiracy theorists will be wondering what a coincidence.

Nii,
Good morning.
Good summary and broad in analytic scope. Your commments capture the sweeping scope of the culture war still going on between the Eurocentrists and Afrocentrists.
Your mentioning Wellesley's Mary Lefkowitz to readers is a good one, and educationally appropriate, if I may add. The British scholar Stephen Howe is another.
As to the historian Toynbee, the less said about him, the better. His intellectual insutlts on African cultual, historiacl, and intellectual dignity is well known. Friedrich Hegel, et al, are his, Toynbee's, intellectual foreathers. We know their intellectual kind. We thank God the Sinologist Martin Bernal put them in their place before his untimely passing!
Again, you have the position clear: Africa must begin to shape her own destiny and to begin to tell her own story.
Relying on others to do all the story-telling is not in her best interest. Nkrumah, Diop, Kenyatta, Fanon, Karenga, Asante, et al, have made similar arguments. Let's begin to do our own thing, as they say.
The great Chinua Achebe, God bless his soul, said if the lion doesn't learn to write his own story, the hunter'll do it for him and, thereby, arrogate all the credit to himself. This is the responsibility you've put on us, taking our desitiny into own hands.
You've said it all; and there's no point for me to belabor them. I don't want to take your ideas lest I put myself in a position of plagiarizing your great ideas.
We shall listen to your great wisdom and put them to good use. In fact, your comments here capture the entire corpus of the theory of Afrocentricity.
Well done!

Having said that, let me say that I may be one of the very few humans who refuse to associate terrorism with religion. No, not if people want to practice Christianity or Islam as God the omnipotent intended religion to be practiced. You want proof? How about starting from the Holy books of all the religions. Each one of them, without exception, whether the Holy Bible, the Holy Koran, or the Torah teaches us first and foremost that "Thy shall fear the Lord thy God" and then "thy shall respect thy parents." Beyond that, every other commandment tells us in no matter how many different ways that "Thy shall treat thy neighbor as thyself."
Killing breaches this dictum; so is sleeping with somebody's spouse; and so is some corrupt leaders of the world stealing from their nations coffers while majority go hungry. And the list goes on.
We can go through all the atrocities and all the terrorism and all the injustices that has gone by in history and still goes on...deep down, none of these can be attributed to religion per se. NO, it is we humans. The near extermination of Jews in Germany wasn't the idea of Germany as a whole but something that germinated and spread from one deranged mind: Hitler. Idi Amin's brutality against his own people wasn't an act of Islam.
The slave masters who engaged in the slave trade and went on to abuse their slaves forgot the number three cardinal rule: "treat thy neighbor as thyself." They wouldn't engage in slave trade in the first place. The spate of home-grown terrorism on US University campuses in recent years aren't acts of religious terrorism. And now, all of a sudden, we have terrorism in our very own black- African backyard.
We all need to step back and start looking at what causes terrorist to do what they do...to bring terror in the lives of others. The answer may lie in the psyche of the human mind. Religion has nothing to do with it. Religion...no! Have you noticed that during forums that try to do a post-mortem after acts of terrorism in recent history, almost all members of the panel are either psychologist, psychiatrists and sociologists...hardly ever are there any clerics. Why?
The solution to ending terrorism around the globe is to try to find out why some humans can be so disenchanted with life as to want to take their precious lives and that of other people.
And that brings to mind a TV interview of a Palestinian I saw a while back. This person was supposedly a trained Arab suicide bomber and he was asked "what drives people to commit acts of terrorism?" and his answer ought to be an eye opener. He looked at both sides of the barrier separating Gaza strip from the Jews. He then finally turned and gazed down to the playground below where Arab children, quite oblivious to the tanks and guns pointing in their direction, with only stones to defend themselves if they had to...with their parents having no work to feed their families...and his answer was quite startling and very simple. He said, sometimes you have to sacrifice your life so others yet to come will not have to go through such injustice and indignity again. May be I'm naïve, but please don't tell me about religious terrorism. Helloooo...any clerics and psychiatrist in the house?

But the old hands here know how to circumvent that limit. They simply find another computer with a different ipaddress. That may be difficult if you are home and may not go out again. Then, perhaps, your smartphone will do if you have a service provider which doesn't require the same address for your broadband and smartphone.

Media Mogul, you know what? Get Norman Finkelstein's book "Holocaust Industry."
Finkelstein is a Jew who tells it like it is. He has lost professorships merely for standing up to Jewish lies and sociopolitical bully.
Besides, he tells you how much the Federal government spent on the major Jewish Holocaust Museum and how much more the same government spends on its maintenance each year. The amounts are staggering.
Thankfully, African Americans are going to have one pretty soon. It's been billed at half a billion dollars.

But I wish Native Americans have theirs as well. I think they need one more than African Americans! Am I saying anything bad?

That was a good attempt to de-link religion from terrorism. But when you declare outright that "[r]eligion has nothing to do with it", I will beg to differ.
Even if religion is not the direct cause of the terrorism we see around us, it is a great facilitator of it. It provides ready made causes for people who are inclined to violence to do so. Those religious terrorists will be hard put to it finding other motivations for their actions. There are many people who are "disenchanted with life" but they don't, for that reason, want to take away that precious life and those of other people. Bring religion into the equation and they are now ready to go.
Too many bad things have been done in the name of religion over the course of human history to allow religion to go scot free.
