Kofi, there are several issues we face in today's society that deal with the intersection between law and ethics, and how they interplay within the context of society. Doe the poor deputy minister not have her rights as any other person, irrespective of her position in the government? The decision to investigate her bank account must be made in a way that does not conflict the rights guaranteed her under the constitution. I am not a lawyer (IANAL), but I do believe the process employed to reach legal goals must themselves be legally approved. Otherwise, I share with you the need to have politicians with the nation's interest at heart and capable of delivering the best results effectively and efficiently.
