GH will start to make a head-way when the following take place:
When the incumbent put in place the capacity to correspond with the citizenry on individual level, i.e. implementation of comprehensive address system, entailing area codes and so on.
When the gov't or this semblance of parliament decides to uproot corruption by finally passing the long-awaited Right To Information act. Nigeria and Liberia passed theirs eons ago.
When the incumbent realized that hugging all the power, in the name of unison or centralized gov't is NOT the way to go, but allowing the masses to elect their own representatives to local gov't, or unleashing the energies of the citizenry to find solutions to our own challenges, instead of waiting on Accra, is the right direction to go.
When we put in place permanent records keeping system or decoupled the Attorney-General from Ministry of Justice, then we will be getting somewhere.
Until then, wake me up when this nightmare is over because this road is getting harder to travel and we are getting tired of groping in the dark for answers.
Imagine 25 million people don't even have just 15% of 3 billion (just 450 million) to access Chinese loan, and every year, we go to the bond market to borrow some more billions - even as we are talking, plans are afoot to go there in March for some more loans.

Can the "great-doctor" Okoampa-Ahoofe show where Ms Vicky may have received the full annual salary? And if the argument is that she was paid a full month’s salary and must either credit the Ghana government or president Mahama must explain why she was let go then I say shame on you Okoampa-Ahoofe. You live in the greatest democratic nation on earth, the USA, where even you may have heard of people being fired by the various American governments since your arrival in America.
How many of those fired did you see, read or hear them refund and or the government made to explain their firing. Ms Vicky made embarrassing statements and was fired. The president does not have to explain because both you and Casely-Hayford should know that any employee, irrespective of position or role in government can be dismissed for bringing disrepute or unnecessary political inquisition to a ruling government. Yes Casely-Hayford may be the best Ghana may have to offer but he, like you and others do not have the corner market on logic, practices, historical events and or precedence. You may have time on your hand to engage in the contemptuous and tribal nonsense you spew for your followers to gobble but spare us with your bull sometimes.
