Nkrumah erred in showing you the avenue for unity. CPP would have reigned for ever. Nkrumah thought ERRONONEOUSLY that as a united front you could add something. Rather you ganged up to kill him and finally deposed him through a coup . These parties included the Northern Peoples Party, Muslim Association Party, National Liberation Movement (NLM), Anlo Youth Organization, Togoland Congress, the Ga Shifimokpee, Aborigines Right Protection Society and the Ghana Congress Party. These were parties of different ethnic, religious, regional associations . Please read and take note

People like Arthur Kennedy, Wereko Brobby, Nyaho Tamakloe, Alan Cash, etc don't seem to realise that as long as NPP remains in opposition whatever dreams they have on the national or international scene will continue to remain dreams!
In most jurisdictions, once leaders are elected, all factions, if they can be termed so, become united behind the new leadership for a common purpose. That is what our politics of personal greed in Africa doesn't seem to recognise.
