Some of his arguments too are faulty. He assumes that if a candidate does EVERYTHING possible to win, then that candidate must win! Well, even such a candidate CAN LOSE as we saw with Akufo-Addo. Well, the candidate can try again. Next time he may win even though he doesn't do everything possible to win.

The writer is not the former Captain Baah Achamfour of the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council. Baah has nothing to do with the NPP. Baah writes well, a graduate from Cape Coast University now living a very simple life.

THIS IS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE THAT TO ME WILL MAKE A PERSON TO BE EASILY DEFEATED AS IN THIS PARTICULAR ELECTION.

If what the author of this article is saying is true then it gives me enough reason to think that Nana Addo is not strategic leader to win power for NPP at any given time.As a political leader if you cannot put things right in your own party then there is no need for you to continue leading the party.NPP has to modernise its systems and throw away the old traditions if they really want to win the 2016 general elections. The interest of the party must be above the personality cult.Thank you.

He has already got it wrong even before the book is published. The fact that in your opinion, Akufo Addo did everything possible, that a person could do to win a presidential race, but did not win, means that, your opinion is hundred percent shared by all Ghanaians, and for that matter, the electorates. It may interest you to know that, there is more to becoming a president than a mere paper qualifications, which unfortunately, your Akufo Addo hasn´t got. What about character, morality and the rest?
Well, it is your right to point out what you felt was the cause of Akufo Addo´s defeat but the fact remains that, the Ghanaian public also have their own way of probing people who wants to rule them. But be careful not to incure the wrath of the elephant, as is the case of Arthur Kennedy, who has now become a complete nuisance in Ghana poltics!

So with all these evidence coming out from the NPP inside people the evidence is now self-evident that Dr Kodwo Afari Gyan and Mahama and not even the 'pink sheets' can be blamed for Nana Addo Danquah Akufo- Addo and NPP losing the 2012 election. Ghanaians will never forget Nana Akufo-Addo holding the whole Ghana in ransom for 8 good months!. Could the so called NPP social/economic commentators analyse the loss and the consequences of the 8 months on Ghana. The fool never learn from his/her mistakes. NPP must listen to Dr Arthur Kennedey, Dr Nyaho Nyaho -Tamakloe, Dr Wereko-Brobbey and others to find out where NPP lost the 2 elections.

If I may ask, if you claim you have evidence as to why the NPP lost the 2012 Presidential Election, why did you not show the three petitioners the evidence and save them from going to court?

However, the main obstacle to Nana Akufo-Addo becoming the President of Ghana is not the alleged NDC-EC-SC 'collusion' to rob him, but Nana himself! His greatest problem is his lack of appeal to floating voters. I'm being honest, though!

The man is not personally charismatic at all. Charisma is important for floating voters who don't have any strong commitment to anybody. And all these negative rumours about him may be important for floating voters.
If Akufo-Addo stands again against Mahama, it's possible that he'll lose by a much clearer margin than before. Unless Mahama messes with the country more than he's doing now.
