Your analysis shows the lack of respect for culture and or environment. Dubai like many oil producing Gulf nations is ruled by a family with everyone else relegated to the subservient role. As a nation, its people can only vote on some issues and not others while their women may pretend to be free but relegated to the status of children. Additionally the family that rules Dubai chooses to do what they deem fit without dissention or input from a comatose citizenry.
In Ghana most in the Ashanti and Eastern regions would not sit idly by and let power rest in the hands of other tribes as we have seen in the exercise of our pretentious multi-party and democratic system where people can stand and talk about killing their opponents. Let some of you try this in Dubai and see the response from the leaders. Environment and culture has a lot to do with the success and or failure of anything humans attempt to implement. In Ghana we choose to be tribally loyal and true to party politics and could give a darn about love of or for nation. If your argument is that the people in Dubai love their nation I will surely agree. In Ghana we love money and tribe above all that is why morons are into juju for money or sacrifice human for the chance of getting rich. Who cares if individuals are filthy rich in Ghana while everyone else around or in the community suffers; that the Ghanaian reality and ideal.
In Dubai you may also note that foreigners especially those of African ancestry do not have the rights and they do not put all foreign interests about those of Dubai. In Ghana our leaders are more apt to laying out red carpet treatment to foreigners willing to bribe our foolish officials while they mistreat Ghanaian citizens. When was the last time you saw Ghana holding Ghanaian citizens and their presumed rights above rights of foreigners on our soil.
