The Plant Breeders Bill, sponsored in nefarious ways by multinational companies, is an unscrupulous attempt to use the inevitable prospect of famine in future generations to augment their profits.

"Why?" asks the confused, surviving waiter amidst the carnage, as the panda makes towards the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.
"Well, I'm a panda," he says. "Look it up."
The waiter turns to the relevant entry in the manual and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves.

Imagine a world in which we are all forced to buy manufactured food. This it appears is the objective of the powers that be. The problem is that they can call groundnut palmnut and we will have nothing to say.

GMO are organisms whose genes have been changed. Plant breeders bill is a bill that encourages the breeding GMOs together with other varieties of animal and plant breeds. What level of protection is there for a Ghanaian farmer who has to buy his seeds from breeders like Monsanto in the US? The provisions of the bill rather exposes farmers to exploitation, abuse and dependency, not protection. You should rather check your low intelligence if you want to advocate for moves towards GMO
