Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

And infact, the fact that Nana made his intentions about free education known before others does not make him the owner of that policy.
But mind you, we have got no time to wait on your Nana to have this policy executed for he is definitely not going to come. You should know this by now.

Mr Kwame Ohene Asare, Esq, as a lawyer you may disagree with the Supreme Court verdict but to suggest that President Mahama stole Nana Akufo-Addo's presidency and his verdict is very unfortunate, unless I have misinterpreted your title. That in itself is part of the problem for those who still believe that President Mahama colluded with EC to manipulate the results of the 2012 Presidential Election as well as influencing the nine Supreme Court Justices to rule in his favour. The Presidency does not belong to any individual/s or political party/parties but to Ghana and Ghanaians. By your profession, you should have known better. There is nothing wrong to disagree with the verdict but everything wrong in saying that it was stolen from Nana Akufo Addo for Mahama.
Notwithstanding the above, I agree with you that Nana Akufo-Addo's free SHS education policy which President Mahama, NDC and some of us criticised has been stolen from him by President Mahama and NDC. I am still of the view that the question of accessibility or availability has not been addressed and therefore this policy of free SHS is unwise. When it comes to access to SHS, the problem of availability should be addressed first before affordability. The implementation of this initiative as announced by the President is doubtful by the fact that the government is unable to pay the cost of feeding for boarding schools and some essential materials for primary schools. Again, there are still many schools under trees in Ghana coupled with very poor school buildings in some communities that are health risk to the children and teachers who use such buildings.
Regarding the late President Mills's "Better Ghana Agenda" mantra, President Mahama has won his own mandate and he has every right to decide his own message. I therefore see nothing wrong with him dropping the Better Ghana Agenda.

I have my reservation for the wholesale free shs program but I will never say Mahama stole the idea from Nana Addo.Mind you,we are talking about leadership qualities and temperament. As a political leader, you must be able to articulate your views effectively and defend your convictions jealously. When Nana Addo was confronted by BBC journalist to say how he was going to finance the program he could not do it.When Ghanaian electorate wanted to know the defination of his funding he couldn't do that either. He took refuge in the revenue as his source for funding without precision.Let me remind you that Nana Addo started the free shs campaign in 2008.Now tell me,if his campaign was effective, why did he not win that general elections? He was then facing Prof. Mills not Mahama.Nana Addo defeated himself by his incapacity to elaborate his plans,he was often left naive.I won't even call it a policy because it becomes a policy after parliament's approval. The bottom line is that NDC was able to neutralise NPP's campaign strategy into their favour and that's what every intelligent commander does in times of confrontation.Nobody has stolen anything from Nana Addo.On the more serious note,if NPP gurus believe that NDC was able to rubbish their campaign strategy; then it gives credence to NDC's victory of the 2012 general elections.Their election petition was born out of frustration to be precise.Thank you.

Kofi, your assertion that Mahama stole Akuffo Addo's policy of free SHS education is completely off the mark....for one main reason...no political party has the exclusive preserve over popular policies....public policies conceived by a political party in an election cycle, could be adapted by the opposition in the next election cycle...this interchange is very common in western democracies.....in Britain where you are.......the Conservatives won largely because they adapted many of Labor's policies.....and in the United States where I reside, Obama's health care policy is something he adapted from the Republican party.....Mitt Romney who lost to Obama implemented a striking similar health care policy when he was the governor of Massachussets in the 1980s... A Republican leaning think tank conceived many of the finer points of what Obama turned into his own policy.....
Many are eager to lambaste Mahama for the current sorry state of the economy but what they are glossing over is the fact that the economy has never been resilient at all, in fact, it has been weak for decades...what was presented to Ghanaians as a strong economy was a complete facade.....Mahama bears some responsibility and so do his predecessors dating back to the 1970s...this lawyer guy is a partisan hack and nothing more.

Nana Addo tried to convince the electorate with free shs policy in 2008 and 2012 general elections. The question here is that why did he fail to win both elections?I think he failed because the campaign strategy was not effective.Today,NPP gurus are saying that the NDC resisted and neutralised their free shs campaign. If you are unable to defend your strategy in elections then ofcourse you are going to lose and that's exactly what happened to NPP.Their incapacity to defend the program and elaborate the policy to the general public was their waterloo. When Nana Addo was interviewed by BBC in London prior to the elections about the funding of his free shs,he could not defend himself there. When Ghanaians wanted to know the source for funding,he could also not defend himself. He took refuge into ranting unrealistic source, the oil money. Unfortunately,Prez Mahama took the advantage during the presidential debate to pin Nana Addo down by rejecting the oil cash as potential source for funding free shs.Prez Mahama said the oil cash is already in our budget and it's even not enough to meet our needs. This tells you that Nana Addo proposal was good but he himself does not know how he wanted to finance the program which left many idependent obsevers worried if not in doubt because a leader must make precise statements when it comes to debate.I think this is why the NPP's free shs campaign became a mirage and that's the more reason why they lost.Nobody stole anything from them but they rather fumbled big time.Thank you.

NDC is telling us that free secondary school education is enshrined in the constitution. Fine. If that is the case, why didn't they come out to explain that to Ghanaians that Nana took the idea from the constitution but rather, they "trashed it" as a political gimmick or an attempt to win votes?
The U-turn by Mahama and NDC is what a "truant or vagabond" does. People of that nature never sit down and conceive an idea on their own. They wait just to steal what someone had come out with.
Yes, to the Mahama supporters, start the spinning or the propaganda game because Ghanaians with "head to think and analyze issues" know that the ruling party is nothing but a group of fools are have usurped power through tricks and lies and the entire nation is paying a huge price for that.
