Ghana is full of weak men.
It took great effort and lawyers for the survivors of the Mau Mau uprising that the colonial British brutalized to get some compensation, as the British always cleverly had tried to distance themselves from colonial brutalities and genocide.
On Ghana's side, we've allowed for too long the "victors" who overthrown the CPP and anti-Ghana forces to write and twist our history.
Any civilized nation wouldn't have forgotten such an important corner stone that led to the building of Ghana, but Ghana had never been a civilized nation since the CPP left the scene.
The pro Europeans lazy Ghanaians who believed they can only be rich if they hobnob with whites would never love to teach Ghanaians that it's alright to boycott white businesses and stand for what's right?
IT'S TIME TO RECOGNIZE THESE BRAVE HEARTS.
We've reach a time in our history as a nation to search for past and present brave men for our children to emulate especially in this time when young men don't know whether to put on mini skirts and pink high heels or not.

Apart from JJ Rawlings of our time, there is no other brave heart.
Kuffuor came, he saw, and Looted Ghana rather than to build. 3% oil was not enough for that annoying brute.

Is your Rawlings brave enough to take just $50 out of his conservatively-estimated $50,000,000 to buy curtains for the state-provided mansion he extorted from Mills?

The Matemeho of today, under Kufuor, renamed many places after their criminal villains. Imagine the complete immorality of naming street after the terrorist bomb organizer, Obetsebi Lamptey? If we love terrorists that much, we might as well rename the N1 highway as "Osama Bin Laden National Highway 1"!

In Africa and for that matter Ghana,we do not regard the sacrifices that the members of their Armed Forces offer to protect their nations in peace and in conflicts. In training, some of them die. Some of them suffer unpleasant body harms, get maimed and even die in the course of protecting their nations in their daily activities. .When they retire, nobody remembers them.Their sacrifices and services are not seen by the politicians.Surely the members of the Armed Forces deserve better both on the active service and on retirement.

The events leading up to the period in question and the actors involved have been well and fully documented. what makes it seem as if this hasn't been done is that as a nation we do not know what to do with our past. our politicians use this past to further their cause of dividing the citizenry rather than uniting us as a people for development. sadly, the gatekeepers of this past (historians) haven't been proactive enough about their trade.
