THE LIFE OF A FOOTBALLER'S LEGS COULD BE VERY SHORT. So they must make hay while the sun shines. Asamoah Gyan turned his back on 'EUROPE' and is making gargantuan cash in the MIDDLE EAST. I hope he is investing well.

Most of the top clubs in Europe appoint financial advisers to advise their players and help them make safe investments. A player's playing career finishes by the age of 35 if he is lucky. It is therefore imperative that they take good care of the often huge salaries they earn and invest their money wisely. I hope the clubs in Ghana also adopt the practice of getting professional financial advise for their players.

If you go to the streets of our cities,it is full of such stories,so if it is happening evrywhere why should it be different for footballers?
The guy should consider himself lucky that atleast he is working to earn his living, not all the youths in similar situation are lucky to find a job.And besides who said Taxi driving is just a"common" job?

Sad story but he is, at least, he found another purpose in life: serving as an "inspiration". By the way, Ghanaweb, if you don't edit your articles, you will be begging for 'ALMS" too soon.
