Ghanaians should face facts and stop the football politics that few people think about what they stand to gain from Akwasi Appiah leadership. How can you invite your former boss who have been fired by his employers to become your assistant? This doesn't happen in a competitive world or in football. The man is superior to Akwasi Appiah and Appiah wants the man to be his subordinate?. For sure, there is something wrong with the GFA and Akwasi Appaih knows he is a liability to Ghana.

Papa Appiah if Akwesi Appaih had end your so-called respect by calling on Milovan Rajevac by the he was not going to become his assistant his adviser or TD please know the difference. Would you Papa Appiah recommend the same for the GFA President or the position you just got please take it one notch up we had independent 57 years ago would you recommend this to the President of Ghana to back to England and ask for queen to become his assistant maybe that would get us back on track.
You Papa Appiah had written and had made your point clear that Akwesi Appiah is not the right man for job whatever Akwesi Appiah would do would not make people like you happy, you are one of self hatred Ghanaian who believe or had made to believe that everything Ghanaian is no good. Get off your white horse no country had won the world without the coach of it own. I do not care how many times we try we as a people as country should keep trying until we get it right.

What is wrong with us as a country?
Why have we all of a sudden started witch-hunting? Is is because of the loss against Montenegro? Is it lack of faith in coach Appiah?
Whatever it is, it is certainly too late now to consider bringing in a questionable character like Milo. If Milo were interested in the progress of Ghana he would have stayed after making history with us in South Africa. He does not have much credentials nor titles to show just as his country has never progressed to the quarter finals of world cup. Coach Appiah might be deficient but he has Konadu as assistant. There are other Ghanaian coaches both home and abroad with better or at least similar credentials as Milo who can be brought on-board to help.
By the way; Coach Appiah has to consider using Essien in the number 2 position. He has played there previously in Chelsea and did reasonably well. He will do a better job in that position with his experience than those being tried there recently plus he has the ability to overlap on counter attack. Another reason too is that we do not lack midfielders and hence his absence in midfield won't be felt that much. Kwadwo Asamoah can also play the number 3 position- he has been doing brilliantly well in that position for juventus. Dede Ayew for right wing can fall back to help Essien at right back, while Kevin Prince Warris plays left wing and also instructed to fall back to help Kwadwo Asamoah. Muntari and Agyemang Badu will protect the back 4, while Kevin Prince Boateng plays just behind Asamoah Gyan upfront. Such a formation will be fluid against a team like USA. In the games against Ggermany and Portugal where we'll need to be more compact; we still can keep Essien and Kwadwo Asamoah at right full-back and left full-back respectfully but use defensive minded utility players like Inkoom at right wing and Harrison Afful at left wing to further help in defence. Center defence will depend on fitness of defenders like Isaac Vorsah, Jonathan Mensah etc at the time. Coach Appiah please try these pairings during our next friendly- most likely to work. Folks what do you think?

This piece by papa or whatever his name is is as good as cow dunk. Alex Ferguson was a superior to Carlos Quieroz. So if that example is anything to go by how do you reconcile that with Appiah and Milo. Appiah, the truth must be told has NEVER been a coach in the first place. He has absolutely no track record prior to his appointment as assistant of the BS. As the substantive coach during the qualifiers, the FA had to PAY their way through and at the World Cup just perhaps like the AFCON, he wouldn't want to be exposed again, the way out therefore is to get perhaps a COACH to do the job he knows he can't by any stretch of imagination to. So he is been clever to save himself from EMBARASSMENT. Once bitten, twice shy. He was out of sorts in AFCON-SA and can't afford to repeat same at BRAZIL 2014. Even the FA knows KWASI APPIAH doesn't know JACK. Be smart Mr. Papa. We are not kids in Ghana, my friend.

This is a great article and I respect you for it. All what you said is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But the tryth is that Ghanaians don't want to hear the truth. Many local coaches are clamouring for the same role, not because they think thy are competent, but because of the dollars they would earn. If they were that good, how come a young man like Kwasi Appiah has been appointed as national coach when they are around. I know many of them, who have been attaching themselves to Kwasi as advisers, scouts, etc, etc. They are nothing less than opportunists. The earlier Kwasi heeded your advice, the better iot will be for Ghana.
